Dr. Majid Pourostad is the Founder and Principal of NATIONS GATE® Law Professional Corporation. With over 25 years of experience in international business law, commercial arbitration, and litigation, he advises clients across a broad range of industries on both domestic and cross-border legal matters.

He is a Barrister & Solicitor licensed by the Law Society of Ontario and holds a Professional LLM in International Business Law from Osgoode Hall Law School. He is also certified as a Qualified Arbitrator by the ADR Institute of Canada and has acted as an arbitrator in both institutional and ad hoc settings.

Dr. Pourostad has served as in-house counsel to multinational clients and appeared before courts in both civil and common law jurisdictions, including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Iran’s Court of Cassation. He has taught law at the university level and remains a trusted resource in civil procedure, evidence, and international arbitration.

He is fluent in English and Farsi and regularly advises on cross-border matters involving contract negotiation, business immigration, shareholder disputes, enforcement of judgments, and arbitral awards under the New York Convention.
